Our Bodies, Ourselves – 40 years of fighting fear
Norsigian talks about why women’s reproductive health information is still controversial, and what has kept the book a top source of information for two generations.  The Library of Congress selected the original edition as one of the 88 books included in its 2012 Books That Shaped America exhibition.

First broadcast January 12, 2013.  This interview originally broadcast as the second half hour of a one hour program that included a first half-hour interview with Merle Hoffman, founder of Choices Women’s Health Center, providing abortions in New York before Roe v. Wade legalized the procedure nationally in 1973. Merle Hoffman interview can be listened to at this location.
