When our doors opened in 1971, our very first patient was from New Jersey, a state that, unlike New York, did not permit abortion services at that time.
Although abortion services have become more widely available in the past 35 years, many states continue to have restrictive policies on abortion.
Today, Choices remains committed to making abortion services available to all women. Women come to us from all over the U.S. and many other countries, as well.
We are aware that making the choice to terminate a pregnancy is stressful in and of itself. Whether you are coming from Buffalo or Bermuda, we want to make planning your trip to Choices as easy as possible.

Unlike many other women's clinics, Choices offers abortions up to 24 weeks of pregnancy. Our caring staff is trained to provide the safest procedures at every stage of pregnancy up to that time, as well as a full range of all reproductive health services including family planning.
